A keep™ campaign · Supported by the Recovery Innovation Fund

Put Recovery in Their Hands.

For years, the Recovery Innovation Fund (RIF) has stood with individuals and families facing addiction and mental health challenges. Today, RIF is proud to support Bands on Hands, a global campaign created by keep™ that brings organizations and communities together to promote connection, accountability, and trusted support.

Who we are

About RIF

Recovery Innovation Fund (RIF) is an organization dedicated to advancing the next generation of care for addiction recovery and mental health challenges. RIF supports initiatives that strengthen treatment, equip clinicians and care providers, and expand access to the tools, resources, and connections people need to build healthier, more independent lives.

RIF Mission

RIF believes recovery is stronger when people have access to appropriate care, practical tools, and a trusted circle of support. RIF supports approaches that respect each person’s dignity, encourage personal responsibility, strengthen accountability, and help individuals and communities move toward healthier, more independent lives.

No one should have to carry their burdens alone.

We believe people are stronger when they have a trusted circle of support where they can be honest, vulnerable, and accountable. We walk beside one another without judgment, without enabling, and without giving up.

Together, we lift one another up, speak honestly and with compassion, and encourage people to take ownership of their journey, do the work, rebuild trust, and move forward.

Why keep™

A simple band, paired with an app.

keep™ is a simple band paired with tools that help people stay connected, accountable and supported, one day at a time. We chose it because it’s simple, visible and easy to understand.

A global movement

Recovery is personal. Supporting it can be collective.

Addiction and mental health challenges don’t affect only one person. They reach families, workplaces and entire communities. Bands on Hands brings separate organizations together around the same mission: tools that bring people back together, so no one walks the road alone.

A large crowd of smiling people raise their hands, each wearing a black keep band

For every person who has the problem, there is between three and five other people, family members, close friends that are adversely affected.
